Updates

Well I had a bad day yesterday. I am here to tell you that my nerves are shot. I couldnt do much but cry. But Adam is having car trouble and thank God some one from his church is going to help him fix it. And I could sure use some me time. I know I dont work but my mine is a mess. I sometime think that the families of mentally ill people are under so much pressure that they need as much help as the mentally ill peolpe do. Some day I am going to husband nap cliff and we are going to run away for a whole day. Just the two of us no phones or anyone to interupt.Well I hope you all have a good day and thanks for letting me vent.

  1. I hope you can have a getaway soon Kathy. I think it is important to have that "me time." We help my in-laws out w/ my sister in law. Right now they are traveling and the 3 brothers and their wives (me included) are taking turns checking on her.

  2. That is a fantastic idea............even if you do it just for ONE DAY.

I don't use a cell phone so when I'm out and about I can concentrate on just one thing and not get interrupted.

You need a break......just to recharge.... go for it.. Betty Ann (hugs)

  3. Hi Kathy, we haven't formally been introduced. I am Pat J's wife Karen. It's amazing what a little alone time with the hubby can do. Our daughter is into quite a bit and Pat and I have more time now to spend together. Even if we do nothing at all, it is still nice. Make plans and have a great time.

  4. Internet vents are good. I have a friend with an internet place just for grumbling. Sometimes our one member, who has three children under seven, comes in and just leaves a scream. Like... "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!"

Then later she'll come by and say, "Thanks, it helped."

I think I'd like a vent room made out of marshmallow. That way, when I felt really mad/fruatrated, I could bounce about screaming and not hurt myself AND... I could bite chunks out the wall and eat them. ;-) I'm thinking big PINK marshmallow room. Sticky, but fun and you really miss out on fun when you have responsibilities and have to be the "grown up" 24/7.
