OK well this was cliffs idea so here goes. I have this
reoccurring Nightmare where I am being chased by this man. I can even tell you what he looks like. He is tall and has long brown hair and has it in a pony tail. But just as he is about to grab me i wake up screaming the man is coming. Well here is the funny part. when cliff leaves for work he tells me all kinds of funny things to solve the problem. Like this morning he told the man had a flat tire and
couldn't come. One day he told me that he told him not to come. One time he told me he had
engine trouble in his car. But we laugh about this all the time. So i hope some one else can laugh to.
The next time you have this dream, try turning the tables and chase him instead. This actually worked for me. I had bad dreams like that when I was young. Elise (pigeon)
ReplyDeletehey what she said does work.I used to have a monster in my dreams and in it I turned the tables and that one does not haunt me any more.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, Cliff's hair is long enough to be put in a pony tail, don't ya think!! That's it, just picture Cliff as the man from now on! LOL. On a serious note, nightmares are horrible. Have you tried looking it up on dreamweaver.com. Might shed some light for ya.
ReplyDeleteCliff's comments to you made me laugh! I used to have bad dreams on and off. I had a psychology professor tell me to think really hard before I went to sleep that no matter what happened that night it was only a dream and that I could wake myself up. Since then I'm usually aware when I'm dreaming and wake myself up.
ReplyDeleteToo bad you can't incorporate Cliff into the dream somehow, so he could chase him away for you! Or maybe let the air out of his tires..
ReplyDeleteawe, he is so sweet to emphasize with you. my honey tells me, whenever I have a nightmare, it's only a dream, dreams aren't real. I need to tell myself they aren't real, even though I just felt it!! Found you through Cliff, love your layout.
ReplyDeletethere is a neat site out there that interprets dreams kathy if you want a different reason for it re-occuring. dream catcher .com i think it is!
ReplyDeleteNext time, when you wake up. Close your eyes, turn around and... ask him why he chases you.
ReplyDeleteThen just listen.
He can't harm you, but he won't go away unless you deal with him.
